Nine more GE Wind turbines for Choshi project

Japan Wind Development Co (JWD) has announced plans to construct nine more GE Wind 1.5 MW turbines at Choshi city in Chiba prefecture. The 13.5 MW project will cost ยด 2.7 billion. JWD, which already operates one GE 1.5 MW turbine at the site, expects the new turbines to be operating by October if its subsidy application to the government's New Energy Development Organisation is successful.
