A second Danish wind company, Nordtank, has also expanded. It has bought a second manufacturing facility, a 2000 square metre production hall as well as machinery, at Grenå, the town nearest Nordtank's headquarters in the village of Balle in east Jutland, now also being modernised. The company bought the Grenå plant to secure more space for manufacture of its steel turbine towers.
