Nedwind installs new models

Nedwind has installed the first two of its new three bladed NW46/3, 500 kW model at the headquarters of construction company Bokma BV in Leeuwarden, Friesland. With a rotor diameter of 46.1 metres and hub height of 42.9 metres the two units are expected to yield some 2.6 million kWh annually. Concrete rather than steel towers have been used to minimise interference with radar signals at a nearby airfield.
