Construction of J-Power's 66 MW, ยด12 billion ($99.8 million) Koriyama-Nunobiki Kogen wind farm in Fukushima Prefecture is complete, says the developer. The plant's 33 Enercon E70 turbines were due online by the end of January. It takes over from the 57 MW Soyamisaki wind farm in Wakkanai City, Hokkaido, as Japan's largest wind power plant to date. The new facility is situated on a plateau at an altitude of 1000 metres, overlooking Inawashiro Lake.
