Sersa, the Spanish subsidiary of German wind developer WPD, has been granted permits to build 94.5 MW of wind capacity in Spain by the Andalucia industry ministry. It gave the nod to Sersa's 49.5 MW Coto de don Lucio wind farm and its 45 MW La Dehesa project. Both will be located on a ridge of the Sierra de Baza, 1100 metres above sea level. Last year WPD developed and sold a 64.5 MW farm in Castilla y Leon in northern Spain, it says, without giving details.
