Jessica's angel

A turbine named "Jessica" is one of 14 at Argyll's first wind farm, opened jointly by Kevin Dunion of Friends of the Earth, Scotland, and by nine year old Jessica Dalgleish. The 8.5 MW Beinn Ghlas plant was built by National Wind Power on the hills of the Barguillean Estate, south of Taynuilt. NWP named a turbine in Jessica's honour after she told the company: "You can see the wind farm from my house. I think they look like angels. Could you call one of your angels after me?" Jessica pressed a button to start her turbine at the official opening.
