Swift and enthusiastic response to share offer from Triodos Bank

Triodos Bank reports that its share issue to raise money for renewable projects secured £1 million in two weeks -- faster than any of the bank's previous ethical offerings. Its goal is to raise £5 million for its fund for small renewables projects. The average investment so far is £2,600. The share issue "captured the imagination of ordinary people who want to do something extraordinary with their money," says the firm's Charles Secrett. Triodos Renewables was formerly known as the Wind Fund.
