Final testing of Gamesa turbines at Grand Carrigue

Final testing is being carried out of a group of seven turbines at Grande Garrigue, in Névian, Aude province, west of Narbonne, the first units of a 15.3 MW wind plant. They are expected to go into production shortly. A second group of 11 turbines, to be in operation this month, will complete the wind farm. The 18 machines are each rated at 850 kW and have been supplied by Spain's Gamesa. Grande Garrigue will be the second largest wind farm operating in France.
