¥ Computer gremlins attacked the end of our story last month on wind energy development in New England (Windpower Monthly, March 1995), causing the last two lines of the article to drop off the page. The missing comment from Kenetech's representative in Maine, Chris Herter, was: "The question is, do you allow development and accept reasonable risk, or do you eliminate all risk?"
¥ FloWind has asked us to point out that it offers five year insurance on its AWT 26/27 turbines. In our report last month on the Renewable Asia Pacific '95 event in India, we quoted FloWind's Harold Koegler as saying the turbines were covered with one year's insurance on performance and availability warranties. We apologise for the error.
