Lightning hit burns out Vestas nacelle

The nacelle of a Vestas V66 1.65 MW machine at Brokstedt near Neumünster, Schleswig Holstein, burned out after lightning struck a blade. The strike, in August, was so powerful that the lightning conductor failed, says the company's Andreas Eichler.
