Mysterious mission: American energy giant GE Group chose wind power as its identifying image on the front of a specially commissioned comic book recently presented to its 10,000-strong French workforce. The book, An Environmental Adventure, tells the story of a certain Gaspard Eole (GE, in case you had not got it), charged by GE with a mysterious mission. The aim is to explain the diversity of the 120-year-old company and its "passion" in a light-hearted way. GE says the book has gone down well in France, where comics are regarded as the "ninth art," having both literary and artistic status.
