Aban Lloyd's connection with California's Kenetech Corporation left it with a large number of wind turbines, but these have all been sold now, according to the company. "We will install 34 turbines by September. The clients are mainly financial institutions. In addition, we have signed a contract for the last 30 machines. These will be up by December 31," says an official. He stresses the machines are not being discounted just because the company is anxious to sell them off. Aban is scouting for another collaboration partner -- possibly with a German company.
