WIND TURBINE TO THE SAKHALIN RAILWAY COMPANY

Russian-Dutch wind turbine company, LMW-Vetroelektronika of Khabarovsk, in the far east of Russia, has been commissioned to supply a wind turbine to the Sakhalin Railway company to supply electricity for a remote railway station. If the project is successful more turbines will be ordered. The LMW joint venture company was set up three years ago and has so far produced around 60 turbines.
