Supplier Ecotricity plans for 10.8 MW

Green electricity supplier Ecotricity has lodged a planning application for a wind farm in west Norfolk. It hopes to build six 1.8 MW Enercon wind turbines at Sedgeford near Kings Lynn in the company's third wind project in the county. Output from the turbines would meet demand under Ecotricity's green tariff. The company says local people could buy the power generated to run their homes by signing up to its new home supply tariff.
