In search of political will

Wind power in Britain is taking a hammering again. This time it is not countryside groups, but the nuclear lobby and the energy regulator that are busy misrepresenting the facts, branding wind "unpredictable" and "costly" without a shred of serious evidence. Energy minister Brian Wilson (right) can choose to believe them, or to fight fiction with fact and ensure the government's clean energy policy is pursued, also by the energy regulator.
