Fuhrländer to supply Vietnam's first wind project

Germany's Fuhrländer is to supply 20, 1.5 MW wind turbines to Vietnamese company REVN, part of state energy company Vietnam Electricity. The turbines will be used for the country's first wind farm, slated for the Binh Thuan region. The 85 metre steel towers are being made locally. Fuhrländer says it is already in talks to expand the wind farm from the initial 30 MW to 90 MW.
