During the three months from April to June Denmark exported 305 wind turbines, or 92.4 MW of wind power plant to 11 countries. By far the largest market was India which imported 171 Danish wind turbines (41.5 MW). In addition, 234 sets of wind turbine components, for 58 MW of wind plant, were shipped to India by Danish manufacturers. The second largest market was Germany which imported 66 wind turbines and eight component sets (31 MW), followed by the Netherlands (21 turbines/5.7 MW), China (16 turbines/4 MW) and the United States which imported ten turbines, or 2.25 MW. Spain and Sweden were close runners up with eight and seven turbines apiece. Two were sent to Finland and Greece and Russia each imported one turbine. In the first six months of this year Denmark has exported 585 turbines, or 183 MW compared with 366 turbines and 105 MW for the same period last year.
