Nearly 800 MW of wind was added globally in the last three months, bringing the grand total to 15,000 MW. Europe accounted for all but about 100 MW and raced past 10,000 MW. Germany passed 5000 MW and Denmark 2000 MW, while Italy is vying with Britain for fifth place after Spain and the Netherlands. The 100 MW of growth outside Europe was mainly in Morocco and Australia, with 12 MW in the US.
