Kenetech Corp is looking for partners in India and in discussions with companies in the subcontinent to generate 1000 MW of power, Kenetech's India manager Raj Mohan Reddy told the Financial Express of New Delhi. The company's US spokesman Bud Grebey clarifies that Kenetech is engaging in marketing in India and is actually looking for buyers of wind plants. The newspaper also reported Kenetech as having contracted with the government of Tamil Nadu state in southern India to generate 300 MW of wind power.
