Uncertainty as to the future of Carter Wind Turbines Inc

The future of Carter Wind Turbines Inc is in doubt. One of America's oldest wind companies and the US sister company of British firm Carter Wind Turbines Ltd, has moved out of its Burkburnett, Texas, factory, says UK company director Dave Corbet. The US company vacated its premises on Easter weekend and has since been cleaning up, says factory owner Jay Carter Sr, of Wind Eagle Corp. Carter Sr and his son, Jay Carter Jr, were once the stalwarts of the company, but have since left. Corbet confirms the future of the US company is uncertain "because of legal action by a former employee." He adds that the UK firm has been funding the US firm with almost $6 million over the last two years. "Carter Wind Turbines Ltd is no longer willing to fund Carter Wind Turbines Inc," he says.
