Climate change brought about by human activity is advancing more rapidly than expected, lending new urgency to the call for action. It should result in far greater efforts on energy and the environment which will inevitably benefit wind. Of the G8, only the US is refusing to take serious action, but in America deregulation is providing wind with a market. Clean coal is waiting in the wings, however, along with nuclear which has been cosying up to wind of late. But wind remains the technology that delivers by far the cleanest and safest kilowatts for the buck.
