Eight 50 MW development sites selected

China's State Economic and Trade Commission (SETC) has selected eight spots across the country for future wind power development -- each with a 50 MW potential. SETC is organising the prospecting of wind resources in these areas which could take up to a year, says Liu Wenqiang, head of the wind division at the SETC's renewables department.
