Electricity suppliers ignore the opportunities presented by the green energy market at their peril. So states a global report released by a renowned international information service (page 34). To judge by the speed at which markets are opening up for "ecotricity," the trademark name of a British brand of green power destined to become a generic name for green electricity, the report's observation is both accurate and astute. From the east coast of England to the east coast of America, customer demand for wind power is outstripping the available supply.
