Northern Ireland permits province's biggest wind farm

Councillors in Northern Ireland have permitted what will be the province's largest wind farm. Joint developers B9 Energy Services from Antrim in Northern Ireland and Renewable Energy Systems from England hope to begin construction of the 22 MW wind farm at Altahullion, County Londonderry in 2002. The project is for 18 to 22 turbines north west of Dungiven on land owned by the Bulrush Peat Company.
