Overheated market trials in America

Given a forum for frank debate, wind project developers in North America made use of it to air grievances about steeply rising technology prices, weaker manufacturer warranties and the limiting effects on investment of the PTC. Some questioned whether the wind industry was pricing its product out of the energy market. But not all the fall-out from an overheated market is negative. Equity investors competing for the chance to put their money into wind projects are driving down the cost of finance, which is helping offset the rising cost of hardware.
