German wind turbine manufacturer Jacobs Energie GmbH began installation of its prototype 1.5 MW MD70 turbine at a site at Kaiser-Wilhelm-Koog in Schleswig-Holstein last month, reports the company's Uwe Hinz. The machine has been bought and will be operated by Pro und Pro of Rendsburg, which worked with Jacobs Energie on the project development.
