British independent power producer Renewable Energy Holdings (REH) has agreed to buy a 30 MW wind farm in Poland for EUR 2.1 million. The company, with a registered address on the Isle of Man, has paid Polish developer Gamar GHL an initial EUR 100,000 for the project at Kobylany in the mountainous region of south-east Poland. REH will pay the remaining EUR 2 million once Gamar has secured all the necessary consents, construction and operating permits. The British renewable energy investor is traded on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. It owns two wind farms in Germany with a combined capacity of 47 MW and recently bought the development rights to a 69 MW wind farm site in Wales.
