Wind aims at ever receding price target

Wind is aiming at an ever receding price target in the UK. Electricity prices continue their relentless downward trend, with a fall in prices for domestic and small business customers averaging 4.4% recorded for the year ending April 1, 1999. This follows an even more dramatic reduction of 7% the previous year. OFGEM-the Office of Gas & Electricity Markets-expects further price reductions when new electricity trading arrangements are introduced in 2000.
