A 72 MW wind station is being planned at Tortosa, Spain, about 120 km south of Barcelona, by German wind development company, Nordex Planungs und Vertrieb (NPV). The company has signed letters of intent for 22 MW with Italian investor Energia and for 22 MW with a Bavarian investor, says Volker König from NPV. A buyer has yet to be found for the remaining 24 MW. Installation of the wind station is scheduled for 1998.
