Public consultation underway for 22 MW wind farm in Ghent

A public consultation is underway on proposals for the development of a 22 MW wind farm along the Kluizendock, in an industrial zone on the Ghent-Terneuzen channel. The Ghent port authority, electricity producer SPE, and wind project developer Ecopower hope to start construction on the project next year with 11 turbines, each of 2 MW capacity. Six turbines will be installed on the northern side of the dock, five on the southern side.
