KENETECH SECURES CREDIT LINE WITH SEVEN INTERNATIONAL BANKS

Kenetech Windpower Inc has secured a $75 million wind credit line with seven international banks to provide working capital. The banking group is led by Morgan Guaranty Trust Co of New York and ABN-AMRO Bank NV of the Netherlands as collateral agent. The group also includes Banco Hispano of Spain, The Bank of Nova Scotia, Banque National de Paris, Sanwa Bank of Japan, and Shawmut Bank of Boston. Kenetech says it expects ten wind farms now being proposed to start construction in 1995 and 1996.
