Bonus, a privately owned Danish turbine maker, reports revenues of EUR 279.9 million for fiscal year 2001, compared with EUR 435.4 million the previous year. Profit before tax fell from EUR 39.2 million to EUR 23.3 million, resulting in a profit margin (EBIT) of 8.6% compared with 8.8% the previous year. Vestas halved its EBIT in 2002 to 5.3%, while NEG Micon's fell by over 1% to 4.5%. Bonus, which has been debt-free for over 20 years, has taken out a EUR 24.2 million mortgage for construction of a new headquarters at its Brande premises in Denmark.
