Start gun for third wave of offshore wind

Britain's Crown Estate, which manages the country's submerged land masses on behalf of government, is to be both a facilitator and investor in the development of 25 GW of offshore wind capacity, 8 GW more than permitted for construction off the UK coast so far. "Wow!" said one active player in the sector, summing up a common reaction.
