Siemens' 90 MW contract with Enel for island of Sardinia

Italian utility Enel says it will use 39, 2.3 MW turbines supplied by Germany's Siemens for a 90 MW wind farm it will build on the island of Sardinia. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The plant will be constructed in the industrial area of Portoscuso and is the key feature of an agreement signed between Enel and the town for the promotion of renewable energy.
