New compendium of funding sources

A report identifying the funding sources for all stages of the innovation cycle for renewable energy projects -- basic research, development, demonstration and commercialisation -- has been published by the Australian Co-operative Research Centre for Renewable Energy (ACRE), based in Murdoch. The report, "Compendium of Funding Sources for Renewable Energy Projects," covers federal and state programmes in Australia and international programmes. It includes on-line databases, international aid funding, business opportunities, venture capital and indirect (non-financial) assistance programmes. The compendium will be updated every three months and provided on computer disc or in hard copy format, says ACRE.
