The Danish wind turbine industry's association director, Søren Krohn, warns that the 50% increase in sales registered in 1995 is not likely to be repeated this year. Nineteen-ninety-five was a record year for the Danish industry both at home and abroad with total sales of 574 MW, 98 MW of which went to Denmark. Krohn estimates sales this year will remain at that level. Danish companies also sold 166 MW of component sets for wind turbines.
