Change of ownership for 140 MW Marengo wind project

Oregon-based PacifiCorp, owned by MidAmerican Energy Holdings, last month bought the 140.4 MW Marengo wind project under construction near Dayton, in Columbia County, Washington. It is expected online in August next year. MidAmerican acquired PacifiCorp earlier this year. The Marengo project was developed by a subsidiary of Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Americas, a British owned company, and is being built by RES's construction arm. Vestas is providing 78, 1.8 MW turbines and operation and maintenance services for two years.
