New owner for 400 MW Gode Wind project in German North Sea
Germany's Plambeck Neue Energien is selling a majority stake in its 80 turbine North Sea offshore project Gode Wind 1 to Evelop, a subsidiary of the Dutch group Econcern, which is currently building the 120 MW Dutch offshore station Q7. The 400 MW Gode Wind 1 project was granted a construction permit in August 2006. Plambeck will continue to develop the project jointly with Evelop, which says the partnership with Plambeck "gives us new possibilities to realise our objective for the next few years to develop and implement 4-5 GW of sustainable energy."
