Wind World 750 kW
1 August 1996
Responding to the heavy competition for 500 kW wind turbines, Wind World is developing a 750 kW turbine, according to the company's German agent, Rainer Bökmann, based in Minden. He says a prototype will be installed near Minden in August or September this year. This larger pitch-controlled model has a new generator concept developed over the last two years with Danish company, Orbital, a specialist in control systems, says Bökmann, adding that the system makes use of the latest developments in "fuzzy logic" electronics.
