Austrian regional energy company EVN will install 60 MW of wind generation towards the end of next year spread across four sites north-east of Vienna, reports Dewind, which has a framework contract to supply the 30, 2 MW machines for the projects. The contract is with EVN's 100% subsidiary, EVN Naturkraft Erzeugung und Verteilung. The machines will be covered by the new Dewind "full-service package running for a total 15 years," the company says. Dewind, originally a German company but now part of the British FKI Energy Technology Group, installed 46 MW out of the total 276 MW of new wind capacity commissioned in Austria in 2003. At the end of the year, the country's wind total stood at 415 MW.
