German renewables developer Plambeck Neue Energien is still seeking a strategic partner six months after it announced its intention to link up with "a renowned and internationally active" company. "Contacts with German and European companies have sown the seeds for deeper talks about possible strategic partnerships." The offers "have presented various possibilities for co-operation and partnerships in executing and financing onshore and offshore wind projects as well as for expansion abroad," it adds. Chairman Wolfgang von Geldern says Plambeck "can manoeuvre without temporal or economic pressure" due to its wind project acquisitions which "constitute the basis for profitable company growth over the coming years." The company reports it has a secure wind project pipeline worth EUR 1.8 billion in Germany alone.
