Dewind enters Indian market

Germany's Dewind has entered the Indian market following an alliance with Chiranjeevi Wind Energy (CWEL), based in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. Under the agreement, CWEL will make and supply Dewind turbines throughout India. Dewind's first turbine in India, a 600 kW unit, has been installed at Pazhavoor, in the district of Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.
