Zhejiang Hewind supplying turbines for 50 MW wind plant
1 June 2008
Zhejiang Hewind is supplying 64, 780 kW turbines for the 49.92 MW Bailingmiao wind farm in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. The project is being developed by a subsidiary of Golden State Holding Group Corporation, a US-registered company that entered China in 1988. It has since evolved from providing consultancy for government loans to wind projects, to full scale development of them. Having been involved in providing loans to more than ten large wind projects, the Bailingmiao development is its first as an independent developer. The Hewind machines are scheduled for delivery in three batches between October and December.
