Some 250 were present at this year's British Wind Energy Association conference in Warwick from July 19-21, an improvement on last year's conference attendance in Stirling. Moreover, this year would appear to mark a further shift in the type of delegate attending; away from academia and towards more commercially oriented organisations. Demand for exhibition space was also up on last year, says outgoing BWEA chairman David Lindley. A full report of the BWEA's 1995 conference will appear in Windpower Monthly's September issue.
