Developer's environmental study on target for 18 MW project at Nyhamn

Ålands Vindenergi Andelslag (AVA), a wind energy company operating out of Åland Island in the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland, is on target to complete its Environmental Impact Assessment in August, the company confirms. AVA wants to erect seven Enercon 1.8 MW wind turbines at a 121 hectare coastal site at Nyhamn. Backing the AVA project is a consortium of banks which includes Ålandsbanken, Andelsbanken, Merita Bank (Nordea) and Lappobanken.
