For the second year running, Nordex tops the annual consumer survey of wind turbine owners in Denmark. But it is one of the turbine makes for which there are fewest survey replies, just 21 out of the 510 replies representing 599 turbines. The survey, conducted by the turbine owners association, asks participants to rate their wind turbine for quality, service, and operation and to also rate the guarantee provided by the turbine supplier. Nordex scored top points in all but the "guarantee" section, where it was beaten by NEG Micon, holder of the survey's second place overall. Just 29 NEG Micon owners responded to the survey. Most replies-135-were received from the owners of Vestas turbines. They placed the company in third place, a step down from its position last year. Bonus, too, moved one place down, coming in third. Again, a high proportion of survey answers, 110, were submitted by Bonus owners. Survey responses were received from the owners of turbines supplied by 12 manufacturers, of which five are in business today, including Wincon, which came fifth. A sixth company, Wind World, is owned by NEG Micon. It was voted into eighth place.
