Like Örebro, the university town Lund, in Skäne, also has a wind co-operative in the making, although this time a private group stands behind the scheme. It plans to install a 500 kW turbine early next year. The project has been delayed by planning authorities who fear the noise level at a nearby cottage would be too high. Since the cottage stands beside a road which reverberates with heavy traffic, the authority objections are not easy to understand.
