RWE Innogy buys up wind projects in Hungary

The renewables offshoot of German utility RWE got off to a flying start after its founding in February with the acquisition of 300 MW of wind projects in western Hungary. RWE Innogy bought the projects from German Aufwind Schmack. All projects have initial planning permission. The deal also sees Aufwind Schmack's local project developer, AET, come under RWE Innogy's ownership.
