After being stuck with 60, 250 kW turbines after the collapse of a bank guarantee on their sale to India, German Nordex is able to breathe easy again. Fifteen of the 60 have gone to customers in Lower Saxony at a special price, while at last month's Husum Wind '95 event, the company sold another 30 turbines, this time to China. Recovering from its hiccup with the bank guarantee, Nordex is expecting customers next year for 70 of its 1 MW machine, an upgraded version of its 850 kW turbine. At the moment the company expects to sell 11 of the 850 kW units next year.
