Representatives of more than 20 Colorado utilities, private firms and public groups as well as environmental and consumer groups, have formed the Colorado Renewable Energy Forum to speed up adoption of renewable energy technologies by state utilities. The new forum will work with utilities to develop plans, policies and regulations that also minimise the impact of renewables on electric rates. Members include Public Service Co of Colorado, the state Office of Energy Conservation, Kenetech Windpower, Colorado Environmental Coalition, and Zond Systems Inc.
